<p>A process is disclosed for the restrained drying of a paper web in a dryer section (203) of a paper machine. The process includes the steps of wrapping the web with a felt during passage of the web with the felt around a dryer (200) of the dryer section (203) and thereafter wrapping the web around a portion of a guiding device (204) disposed immediately downstream relative to the dryer (200) so that edge curl of the web is minimized.</p> |
