CONTROL DEVICE FOR ACTUATING A VALVE AND A SEALING DEVICE

Pipeline shut-off devices comprising a valve (5) and a sealing device (6) provided with drives (1a, 1b) are incorporated in a pipeline by off-shore technology. The control device (15) is common to the valve (5) and the sealing device (6), and the two drives (1a, 1b) are hydraulic and supplied by a common pressure pump (4a) through pressure lines (2a-2b) containing magnetic valves (3a-3d). The control device (15) is arranged centrally on the shut-off device and has a pressure sensor (8a) in a cylinder chamber (17a), which acts on the pressure pump (4a) through an actuator (9a). This results in more reliable performance and an arrangement which facilitates flow. Application to off-shore engineering.
