PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition having a high rate of curing, a low refractive index and excellent adhesion to core and being useful as a cladding material for fibers for optical transmission, by mixing urethane acrylate and/or epoxy acrylate with a specified fluorinated di(meth)acrylate. CONSTITUTION:Desirably, 1-50wt.% urethane acrylate obtained, for example, by a reaction of a polyester polyol with an organic polyisocyanate and a hydroxylated acrylate and/or epoxy acrylate obtained, for example, by a reaction of a bisphenol epoxy resin with acrylic acid is mixed with, desirably, 50-99wt.% fluorinated di(meth)acrylate of the formula (wherein R is H or CH3). |
