The invention relates to a head for an extinguisher with auxiliary pressure, comprising a container 1 of extinguishing product, an auxiliary bottle 6 of pressurised propellant gas, fitted with a striker 7, and a spray pipe connected to the container by a hose. The extinguisher head according to the invention is noteworthy in that it comprises a rotationally mounted spool 10, on which is wound the hose and which is arranged so as to be driven in a rotational movement when the said hose unwinds, whilst a part of the said spool 10, or an element linked thereto, is intended to act on the striker 7 during the said rotational movement. <IMAGE>
