PURPOSE:To prevent the tightening part such as clothes from being thicker and to facilitate an adjusting operation by fitting freely slidably an adjusting body and a locking piece mutually in an orthogonal direction into a thin enclosure shaped case body, providing a tooth to gear mutually to the opposite part of the adjusting body and the locking body and energizing the locking piece in the direction geared to the adjusting body by a spring. CONSTITUTION:In order to fit a tightening/adjusting tool, for example, the tightening part round the waist of a pair of trousers, the tightening part overlaps an upper cloth 29 and a lower cloth 30, and therefore, belts 31 and 32 respectively sewed by the upper cloth 29 and the lower cloth 30, a fitting part 5 of a case body 1 is fixed to a belt 31 of the upper cloth 29 and a fitting part 11 of an adjusting body 8 is combined to a belt 32 of the lower cloth 30. Then, in order to adjust, if the tip part of a locking piece 16 protruded from the case body 1 is pushed so as to push it into the case body 1, a tooth 19 or 20 of the locking piece 16 slips off from a tooth 12 or 13 of the adjusting body 18, the adjusting body 8 can be freely expanded, expansion adjustment is executed, thereafter, the force to push the locking piece 16 is released, and thus, the tooth 19 or 20 of the locking piece 16 is geared to the tooth 12 or 13 of the adjusting body 8 by the resiliency of a spring 23 and an adjusted condition is held. |
