The tower foot (5) is supported by a pair of annular, downwardly diverging, conical shell structures (6,7) forming a transition to the base structure (1). The shell structure (6,7), having angles of inclination which can be varied independently of each other, advantageously may be supported directly by the walls of respective cylinders (11,12) being an integral part of the walls of the base structure (1). The structural shape and geometry of the arrangement implies that the size of the diameter of the tower foot (5) can be chosen independently of the size of the base. |
