Arrangement for indicating connection states on a text station

In order to set up a connection between two text stations connected to connection lines, for example telex machines, it is necessary to indicate connection states on the text stations. Whereas the display has hitherto been provided by luminous elements disposed on keys, the display according to the invention is provided by alphanumeric character sequences which indicate the corresponding states in clear text on a screen of a display unit of the text station. The invention can be used in text stations connected to connection lines, in particular telex machines. <IMAGE>
