PURPOSE:To eliminate the erasion of data due to the break of a power supply and to attain the high-speed transfer of data right after the reapplication of the power supply by writing an area having a high access frequency before the break of the power supply into a nonvolatile cache memory. CONSTITUTION:An external memory device 3 stores the information and the information that received at least an access from the device 3 is stored by a volatile memory means 6. Then the information stored in the means 6 and having the high using frequency is stored by a novolatile memory means 5. A memory controller 2 performs the control of the transfer of information among the device 3 and both means 6 and 5 respectively. Thus the areas having high access frequencies are written into the means 5. In such a constitution, the erasion of data due to the break of a power supply can be avoided and the high-speed transfer of data is possible right after the reapplication of the power supply. |
