In a multi-line palletising installation, it is known to arrange the pallets in a row adjacent to one another on a pallet roller conveyor, the respectively assigned articles being set down on the correspondingly assigned pallets using a transporting carriage. In this arrangement, the fully loaded pallets must dwell between only partially loaded pallets. The further transport of the fully loaded pallets is only possible when the further pallets are also correspondingly loaded. Optimal and rapid assignment of the individual different articles to the relevant pallets is now to be ensured in such a multi-line palletising installation. For this purpose, it is proposed in a palletising apparatus that the displacer plates platform (4) is rotatably arranged at the centre of a plurality of assigned pallet stations (5-11) and can be transported with the displacer plates (15) in each case over the relevant pallet stations (5-11), and that, outside the plane bounded by the pallet stations (5-11), there is arranged a pallet transporting device common to all of the pallet stations (5-11) and having one or more full-pallet removal transporters (22, 23).
