PURPOSE:To provide a safe combustion control device which does not perform an ignition in case that the number of revolutions of an air blower is remarkably high by a method wherein means for detecting the number of revolutions of the air blower is provided, and an ignition controlling means is arranged for starting an igniting operation when the number of revolutions is detected within a predetermined range of revolution. CONSTITUTION:A DC electric motor for an air blower 17 is provided with a hall element 17a acting as means for detecting the number of revolution of a rotating shaft. When an operation switch for a controller 31 is turned on and a water plug is operated, a control device 30 may operate in response to a signal from an amount-of- water sensor so as to control the blower 17 to the number of revolution for a gradual ignition. Then, combustion air is supplied and the number of revolution N of the blower 17 is detected. In case that the detected number of revolution N is in a range of 900 (r.p.m)<=N<=1100 (r.p.m), it is judged that an operating condition of the blower 17 is normal and the fuel gas is supplied and mixed with air and then ignited. In case that due to a certain reason, the number of revolution N of the blower 17 is in a range of N<900 (r.p.m) or 1100 (r.p.m)<N, it is judged that an operating condition of the blower 17 is abnormal and so the ignition control is not carried out. |
