PURPOSE:To obtain a light-weight jig for sintering by coating a part of the surface of a sintered body composed of a base material with an electromelted spinel layer to thereby prevent reaction with an electronic component. CONSTITUTION:At least a part of the surface of a sintered body composed of a base material is coated with an electromelted spinel layer 2 to prevent reaction. The sintered body 1 is one of alumina, mullite, or cordierite refractories whose density is within 0.6-1.5g/cm2 and whose bending strength at ambient temperature is within 50-150kg/f/cm2. The spinel layer 2 is 150-1000mum in thickness. Accordingly, the reaction with an electronic component can be prevented, thereby allowing a light-weight jig for sintering to be obtained. |
