PURPOSE:To supply a sufficient amount of lubricant into a crank chamber by connecting the crank chamber to the coolant suction passage of a compression mechanism through a communication port so as to build up an ejector mechanism. CONSTITUTION: In a rotary compressor, the crank chamber 23 of a compression mechanism 14 is connected to a cylinder suction passage 35 via a communication port 42 so as to build up an ejector mechanism. The pressure inside the crank chamber 23 is positively reduced to a pressure lower than the suction pressure inside a hermetically sealed casing 11 by utilizing the ejector effect caused by sucked refrigerant flow absorbed in the cylinder chamber 21 of the compression mechanism 14, so that compressed refrigerant gas leaking into the crank chamber 23 can be prevented certainly from blowing in an oil feed passage inside a crank shaft 13. |
