<p>PURPOSE: To ensure easy manufacture and to achieve excellent sealing in a tank by fixing a portion of an inside shell to a metal member forming a cap and a neck on all contact face between inside and outside shells and covering portions of the outer face of the cap and the outer face of the neck with the outside shell. CONSTITUTION: At least a portion of an inside shell 3 is fixed to a metal member 6 forming a cap 10 and a neck 7 on all contact face between these two elements and portions of the outer face of the cap 10 and the outer face of the neck 7 are covered with an outside shell 4. After assembly, one cap 10 and neck 7 and the other inside shell 3 are thus in complete one unit and a volume encircled in such a way avoids leakage risk due to separation between the inside shell 3 and an reinforcing insert member, when extremely high pressure which may be caused during storing high pressure gas is applied to a joint or a container. These assembly elements can give excellent sealing property and mechanical strength to the tank.</p> |
