Combustible pollutants or waste materials are efficiently converted into useful productsd, without dangerous emissions. The device and process consists of first totally decomposing waste material in an airless atmosphere by a thermic lance, followed by cooling the decomposition products and sepg. the inert products with water to generate steam, reacting the gases with coke, and recovering hydrogen, carbon monoxide and other useful products. The waste is converted into products that find use in a wide range of industries. |
