PURPOSE:To obtain a coil conductor which does not require complicated work and has excellent corona resistant property by associating a sheet-shaped insulating layer and insulated strands which are wound with fibrous base material and treated with thermosetting resin and heating for forming. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-shaped insulating layer 13 and an insulated strands 10 which are entirely wound with fibrous base material 14 and treated with thermosetting resin are displaced and associated, a porous insulating material 11 is disposed in the air gap formed of the displaced part 10a, heated to be formed in the prescribed shape. For example, a prepreg insulating layer 14 which is made of glass fiber and epoxy resin is formed through a thermosetting resin layer 12 made of epoxy resin mixed with flexible component and a sheet-shaped insulating layer 13 made of aromatic polyamide paper on a flat copper wire 9. After the thus formed insulated strands 10 are displaced in level and associated, polyester felt prepreg is superposed on the displaced part 10a, heated to be formed, thereby obtaining a coil conductor. |
