PURPOSE:To obtain a disk, whose writing and erasing speeds are high, by using 1) a shape storing alloy film, 2) a shape storing resin film and 3) a liquid crystal polymer film as a storing film which can execute writing, erasing and reading with a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a substrate 1 of a glass or plastic, etc., disk, a storing film 2 of the shape storing alloy film of Ti-Ni, etc., shape storing resin film or liquid crystal polymer film, etc., is formed by several micron thickness. For the writing, a whole at the degree of diameter 1 micron and depth 300 angstrome is formed as a pit 4 by a strong laser beam hnu13 and for the reading, a weak laser beam hnu25 is irradiated and the reading is execut ed by a reflected light 6. For the erasing, the pit 4 can be erased by a laser beam hnu37 which is stronger than the hnu25. Such a laser disk is obtained at a low cost and the writing and erasing speeds are made high. Then, the writing and erasing can be executed in any times. |
