PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of buff process and to improve adhesive strength by sticking a decorative sheet to a trim main body through a sponge rubber layer made of EPDM monoblock extruded with the trim main body. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip having a trim portion comprises a trim main body 1A where an insert 3 is buried, which is formed by solid rubber and a hollow portion seal 6 formed by a sponge rubber. A decorative sheet 2 is disposed on the design surface of the trim portion 1A. The trim main body 1A and the decorative sheet are stuck to each other through a sponge rubber layer 11 made of EPDM, which is monoblock extruded with the trim main body 1A. Accordingly, the surface of the sponge rubber has rough surface suitable for adhesion, and when external force for separation is applied to the surface, stress generated in the adhesive interface is dispersed by the sponge rubber so as to improve adhesive strength. |
