PURPOSE:To obtain a skin drug for external use, containing a hydroquinone glycoside and amine oxide, excellent in promoting effects on pecutaneous absorption of the hydroquinone glycoside and good in safety and touch of use. CONSTITUTION:A skin drug for external use containing (A) 0.01-30 wt., espe cially 0.1-20 wt.% hydroquinone glycoside, e.g. a compound expressed by formu la I (R6 is pentose residue, hexose residue, amino sugar residue or methyl compounds thereof) and (B) 0.0001-10 wt.% especially 0.01-5 wt.% compound selected from amine oxides expressed by formula Ii (R1-R3 are 1-24C alkenyl and at least one thereof is >=8C), dihydroxyethylalkylamine oxides expressed by formula III (R4 is 8-24C alkyl or alkenyl) and dimethylalkylpolyoxy- ethyleneamine oxides expressed by formula IV (R5; n is 1-5). Hydroquinone-beta-D- glucose is especially preferred as the compound expressed by formula I. |
