摘要 PURPOSE:To ensure excellent releasability from a base and contrive higher response characteristics in the case of high-speed printing, by providing a first heat-softenable layer comprising a coloring material and a heat-fusible substance, and a second heat-softenable layer comprising a heat-softenable resin and a nonionic surfactant and being colorless. CONSTITUTION:A first heat-softenable layer on a base comprises at least a coloring material and a heat-fusible substance, whereas a second heat-softenable layer comprises at least a heat-softenable resin and a nonionic surfactant, and is substantially colorless. The base is preferably a paper, a resin film, a paper- resin film composite material, an aluminum foil or the like. The first heat- softenable layer enhances high-speed printing properties through rapid release thereof from the base, the coloring material being a pigment, such as an inorganic pigment and an organic pigment, and a dye. The heat-softenable resin and the nonionic surfactant rapidly soften the second heat-softenable layer when being heated, thereby enhancing the adhesive force of the layer, and prevent formation of voids in transferred images, greasing, trailing or the like. The second layer is made to be substantially colorless so as to prevent the adhesive force thereof from being lowered.
