The device for suppressing the rolling motion of engine in a vehicle comprises a casing(46, 47) containing a liquid, a partitioning member(41) dividing the inside of the casing into two chambers(42,43) , a mounting member(44,45) fixed to the other side of an engine or an automotive body, a variable orifice device(59) inserted into the partitioning member, roll-detecting means(88,100,112) for detecting the rolling tendency of the engine, and a control circuit(93,94,107,108) which sends forth a control signal to the rotary drive means in accordance with the contents of a signal delivered from the roll-detecting means.
