<p>There is attached to the pole 1 a shaped strip 2 whose length is such that its bottom end is within arm's reach and that its top end is out of reach of acts of vandalism. Near the front, the strip 2 has grooves 8 forming guides which cooperate with grooves 11 of complementary shape on the rear face of a shaped strip 9 attached to the back 12 of the billboard. There are means for locking the billboard in its high position for display and in its low position to allow the notice to be changed. A counterweight 18 steadies the descending movement of the billboard. The invention applies to the fitting of billboards carrying non-glued notices to poles such as the bodies of street lamps. <IMAGE></p> |
