PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of low cost wire by providing a clearance in a metal casing through which gas molecules can pass. CONSTITUTION:A multiplicity of linear holes 3a are provided in a metal tube, or a longitudinal joint 3b is provided in the metal tube, the joint being formed by only superposing the edges of the tube member to facilitate the passage of oxygen molecules, so that oxygen is easily supplied to the oxide-type ceramics superconductive material filled into the metal tube.
