PURPOSE:To provide the subject fishing bait stable in water, having no unpleasant smell, healthy and capable of being stored by adding a fish-attracting substance, a colorant, etc., to the fine powder of devil's tongue and subsequently coagulating and molding the mixture by an alkaline treatment process, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective fishing bait is obtained by adding (B) a fish- attracting substance such as the powder of silk pupae and (C) a colorant, etc., to (A) the fine powder of devil's tongue comprising mainly devil's tongue mannan, treating the mixture with (D) an alkali such as lime water, subjecting the treated mixture to a steaming treatment and subsequently molding the treated mixture in a mold box or with an extruder. |
