A liquid coating compsn. for forming high quality fluorinedoped tin oxide coatings comprises (a) 1-30 wt.% of an organic fluorine dopant cpd. selected from trifluoroacetic acid (or anhydride), ethyl trifluoroacetoacetate (or trifluoroacetate), trifluoroethanol or pentafluoropropionic acid, (b) 70-99wt.% of an organo-tin cpd. selected from alkylchlorotin diacetate, and (c) opt. up to 10wt.% of a polar organic cpd. The oxide coatings have a low sheet resistance and high visible light transmission. |
