PURPOSE:To eliminate uneven print in a line, by shortening the pulse width of voltage to be applied onto the both end print heads when compared with that to be applied onto other print heads in a plurality of wire dot print heads arranged in a line. CONSTITUTION:The end wire dot print heads HD1, HDn positioned at both ends are interfered only from one side, and the magnetic flux is small, while central heads HD2-HDn-1 are subjected to magnetic interference from the opposite sides thus producing lower printing force when compared with the opposite end print heads HD1, HDn. When the pulse width of voltage to be applied onto the print heads HD1, HDn on both sides wherein an adjacent other print head is only on one side is set shorter than that to be applied onto the central print heads HD2-HDn-1 wherein printing heads are adjacent on both sides of the central part, identical printing force can be provided for all wire dot print heads. |
