<p>PURPOSE: To reduce using quantity of sintered ceramic by inserting a bush made of sintered ceramic material into a hole for a valve ball and holding the bush on the inside of the valve ball so that pressure in the flow passage inside the bush works on the outside of the bush. CONSTITUTION: A bush 16 made of sintered ceramic is inserted into a hole 17 for a valve ball 3 constituting a ball valve. A pressure in the flow passage formed inside the bush 16 works also on the outside of the bush 16. A projection 19 in the bush 16 is engaged in a notch 20 formed in the valve ball 3, so that the bush 16 is held on the inside of the valve ball 3. In this way, use of the sintered ceramic material can be restricted within the flow passage area.</p> |
