PURPOSE:To vibrate a temple, etc., to wake a sleepiness, and to restore the function of a brain to a former active condition by providing a superconductive magnetic resistance element to detect the active degree of the brain, a mechanical vibrating means, a cooling means to cool a forehead, and a control means to control the mechanical vibrating means. CONSTITUTION:A cooling headband 11 is equipped with a superconductive magnetic resistance element 12 fitted to a point faced to the forehead, a cooling means 13 such as a Peltier element to cool the forehead of a headband user, a mechanical vibrating means 234 to vibrate the temple, etc., a control means 14 to control the mechanical vibrating means 23 according to the output of the superconductive magnetic resistance element 12, and a temperature sensor 15 to detect the temperature of the cooling headband 11. A temperature control circuit 22 of the control means 14 controls the cooling condition of the cooling means 13 so as to maintain the temperature of the cooling headband 11 at a designated fixed temperature in receiving the output of the temperature sensor 15 to detect the temperature of the cooling headband 11. When a cooling headband mounting person feels the sleepiness, the temple, etc., are vibrated by the mechanical vibrating means 23, the brain is activated, and the sleepiness can be woken. |
