<p>PURPOSE:To keep a C-shaped transection which is about long lengthwise, by a method wherein a plastic cover attached body which is under a state of a temperature rise is pressed against a crest-shaped jig for bending, deformed into a fixed radius of curvature through bending and cooled. CONSTITUTION:A beltlike jig 3 is inserted through an end of a cover 1 insertably and escapably and an auxiliary belt sheet 4 and built-in belt sheet 5 are inserted similarly. Upon making a plastic cover attached body 9 by superposing a protecting belt sheet 8 upon the foregoing matter, the whole of which is immersed into a heating liquid such as hot water in a heating tank and the attached body 9, which is raised up to a fixed temperature in the heating tank, is deformed through bending while pressing against a curved surface part of a crest-shaped jig 12 for bending. The attached body 9 after bending and deforming is cooled down to the normal temperature by immersing the same into a cooling liquid such as water in a cooling tank. Then the built-in belt sheet 5 on an end fringe part 2 side of an opening out of the built-in belt sheet 5 is pulled out first, then after pulling out of the auxiliary belt sheet 4 in a longitudinal direction, the beltlike jig 3 is pulled out. With this construction, the attached body 9 can be deformed through bending into a fixed radius of curvature while keeping an original side face form of the plastic cover 1.</p> |
