<p>PURPOSE:To improve heat separation between dots of a thermal head while planning the improvement of heat responsibility by using the material containing at least one metal of iridium, rhodium or osmium as a resistor and thinning its film thickness. CONSTITUTION:Mixing solution of an organometallic compound containing iridium, rhodium or osmium is applied on a substrate having an under-glaze layer 2 formed on an alumina substrate 1 by screen print, baked after drying and a thin film resistor 4 of film thickness of 0.05-3mum is formed like a band. Thereafter gold organic substance paste is printed and baked to form a gold film. This is photolithoetched to form a desired individual electrode 3 and a common electrode 3'. An over-glaze layer 5 for protecting on the substrate, including these resistors 4, the individual electrode 3 and the common electrode 3' is laminated and formed on the resistor 4 by print and baking of glass paste and a thermal head is obtained.</p> |
