PURPOSE:To maintain the appearance of a lighting fitting excellently and enable a glow starter to be easily exchanged without a danger such as an electric shock or the like by forming a cover with a main body which covers the circumference of a ballast and a cap which is separable with respect to the main body and covers the circumference of the glow starter. CONSTITUTION:A cover 15 is formed with a main body 16 and a cap 17 which is separably connected to the upper end of the main body 16 by, for example, a press-fit means, and the circumference of a ballast 12 is covered with the main body 16 and the circumference of a glow starter 13 is covered with the cap 17. When the glow starter 13 is exchanged, the cap 17 of the cover 15 is separated from the main body so that only the glow starter 13 is exposed to the outside with the circumference of the ballast 12, namely, a live part being covered with the main body, and thereby the glow starter 13 is removed so as to be exchanged safely and easily without touching the live part. At usual time, the circumference of the glow starter 13 is covered with the cap 17 of the cover 15, and thereby the glow starter is out of sight so that it is fine to look at. |
