CORE MATERIAL FOR MOTOR AND UNDERWATER MOTOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance of a core material for a motor without loss of magnetic characteristic by composing the core of an electromagnetic steel plate containing chromium in iron. CONSTITUTION:A motor 8 of a recirculation pump in an atomic reactor is exposed with pure water at 80 deg.C or lower. A material which contains by weight 0.4 to 2% of chromium, 3% or less of silicon, and the balance of iron is used as the core of the motor 8. Thus, since its corrosion resistance is improved without loss of magnetic properties, the reliability of a recirculation pump in an atomic reactor can be improved.
