<p>A process for inhibiting corrosion on metals comprises providing a metal surface to be protected and applying to said surface a protective organic compound, the said organic compound being formed by reacting an alcohol phosphate ester, multi-esters below C16 chain length, any petroleum solvent and/or its derivative, any fatty amines and/or its block polymer and a coupling agent, standard additives for colour and odour maintenance and the said process being carried out at a temperature between 30 deg C. and 180 deg C. and obtaining a homogenous and biodegradable mass to form an organic compound to reduce corrosion and reduce metal loss.</p> |
