A glass with a transparent conductive layer intended to be used as electrode for photopiles in the form of a thin layer particularly those made of amorphous silicon. The process of preparation is also described. The layer consists of ITO obtained by the pyrolysis of a powder based on indium formate. The layer is made scattering by carrying out the coalescence of the grains of the layer. This is obtained by adding colloidal silica to the powder to be pyrolysed. <IMAGE>
