PURPOSE:To obtain a composition, consisting of a polyphenylene ether resin, polyamide and ethylene-alpha-olefin based rubber-like polymer or aromatic vinyl compound-conjugated diene block copolymer and excellent in processability, impact and heat resistance. CONSTITUTION:A composition, consisting of (A) 89-10wt.% polyphenylene ether resin with (B) 10-89wt.% polyamide (preferably nylon 6) having 1-2.7, preferably 1.5-2.7 relative viscosity and (C1) 1-50wt.% ethylene-alpha-olefin based rubber-like polymer having 14-30, preferably 14-25 Mooney viscosity and <=50wt.%, preferably <=5wt.% content of a portion insoluble in cyclohexane or (C2) 1-50wt.% aromatic vinyl compound-conjugated diene block copolymer with 5-19wt.%, preferably 10-18wt.% content of an aromatic vinyl compound and obtained by mixing the respective components using a compatibilizing agent (e.g. polycarboxylic acid). |
