PURPOSE:To obtain a desensitizing ink for a pressure-sensitive copy paper free from ghost image by water, superior in various printabilities, and improved in desensitizing effect and setoff properties, by incorporating an addition compound obtained by adding a specific amount of a butylene oxide to methylimino bispropylamine. CONSTITUTION:In a desensitizing ink containing a desensitizer, a pigment, and a binder, as the desensitizer an addition compound obtained by adding 4-70mol alkylene oxide to 1mol methyimino bispropylamine is incorporated, but 40mol% or more of the alkylene oxide is a butylene oxide. As the pigment, a white pigment, such as titanium dioxide, barium sulfate, calcium carbonate, talc, kaolin, and bentonite, is used. As the binder, a natural or synthetic high- molecular compound, such as rosin modified phenol resin, ketone resin, polyamide resin, polyvinyl alcohol, gelatin, and shellac, is used. |
