The method of moment bending according to the invention serves for the testing of sample bodies having strip-shaped or sandwich-type construction under bending loading. In contrast to traditional methods, it enables bending of the sample body without transverse forces even at large deflections and is suitable, furthermore, for dynamic test procedures with bending loads which vary with time.
