PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a pressure-sensitive adhesive for screen printing, which is nonstringy, can be readily applied in an arbitrary form to the necessary part by screen printing like a printing ink, can be cured within a very short time by irradiation with an ionizing radiation to form a desired adhesive layer by mixing an ionizing radiation-curable adhesive with a fine organic resin powder. CONSTITUTION:This pressure-sensitive adhesive is formed by mixing an ionizing radiation-curable adhesive (A) with a fine organic resin powder (B). It is desirable that component B has a particle diameter <=10mum. The mixing ratio is preferably such that about 50-1500 pts.wt. component A is present per 100 pts.wt. component B. As component A, any well-known adhesive that can be cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays or other ionizing radiations can be used. As component B, a powder of a specified particle diameter, obtained by precipitating, for example, a commercially available emulsion-polymerized acrylic polymer or copolymer or other resin emulsions by, e.g., salting out and separating the precipitate can be used. |
