<p>The punch holder, the hold-down clamp and the die holder, of generally rectangular shape, are each equipped with a square plate (11) capable of occupying two positions strictly centred with respect to the frame as a whole but at 90 DEG from one another, the different tools (6a, 7a) being mounted on the said square plates (11). This enables the frame to be used either alone, in which case the strip of base material moves along the longitudinal axis (B-B) of the frame, or in combination with other modules, in which case the strip of base material moves along the transverse axis of each module but along the longitudinal axis of the assembly as a whole, the square plates (11) making it possible to retain the orientation of the tools (6a, 7a) despite this change in the direction of use. <IMAGE></p> |
