The square box is made of cardboard or corrugated carton and has a recessed bottom (10), the top side of which is flat. The underside has cavities (12) which contain identical-shaped articles (21-23) on one or both sides. The box is made of one piece and is folded. The bottom (10) is supported by the flaps (8,9) of a second bottom (11). The smooth surface of the second botton (11) forms beam-like supports with the flaps (8,9). USE/ADVANTAGE - The folded boxes can be transported in their stacked form from their place of production to where they are filled with goods, and so are compact and can be recycled after use.
