<p>The invention relates to a distribution box for the connection of electrical cables, of the type comprising a bottom wall (2), a top wall (3) and side walls (4, 5, 6, 7) for closing the box, and in which orifices (28) are made for the passing of the cables (26). According to the invention, some at least of the side walls (4, 5, 6, 7) of the box comprise tenons (9) forming sliders suitable for coming into engagement with grooves (8) made along side wall start sections (14, 24; 15, 25) which extend locally at the level of the external angles of the box.
