PURPOSE:To readily widen a non-woven fabric by applying other non-woven fabric proper width to the upper surface of part projecting side edges of continuous non-woven fabric, folding either one non-woven fabric to the projecting part and separably punching the non-woven fabric with a needle so as to slightly thrust into the non-woven fabric. CONSTITUTION:Other non-woven fabric 3 having proper width is applied to the upper surface of part projecting side edges of continuous non-woven fabrics to be bonded and simultaneously either one of the non-woven fabrics to be bonded is folded to the opposite side to the surface applying a needle punch to put the fabric on the back side of the projecting part and depth of the needles penetrated is set so that barb 5 of needle blade 4 is slightly thrust into non- woven fabric 2' of the folded back surface and the non-woven fabrics are punched with needles from the upper surface side and bonded so as to be capable of readily separating the non-woven fabric having the folded back surface to uniformly and readily widen the non-woven fabric. The continuous non-woven fabrics may be bonded in the state mutually putting side edge part thereof. |
