PURPOSE:To enhance a molding characteristic to improve the dimensional accuracy of an ink outflow gap, by forming said gap by molding a compounded composition prepared by mixing and dispersing aspartic acid ester in a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:An ink outflow gap is provided by molding a compounded composition wherein aspartic acid ester is mixed with and dispersed in a thermoplastic resin. As aspartic acid ester, both of aliphatic and aromatic esters may be used but, with due regard to lubricating effect, 7 or more C aliphatic ester is pref. and the compounding ratio thereof is pref. 0.1-2.0wt.%. Next, in mixing and dispersing said ester in the thermoplastic resin, a powder mixer can be used, because aspartic acid ester is usually obtained as a fine powder. By this method, since the molding characteristic of the molding material is markedly enhanced, the dimensional accuracy of the gap of a pen point is improved and a definite amount of ink can be allowed to flow out constantly and capillary power can be enhanced by reducing the width of the gap. |
