<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an ink free from occurrence of clogging at the nib or a fine orifice tip over a long period and capable of recording excellent printing quality without feathering even on an ordinary grade paper by mixing a specified compound with an ink obtained by dispersing a pigment in a liquid medium. CONSTITUTION:(A) An ink obtained by dispersing a pigment in a liquid medium mainly consisting of water and (3) 0.5-30wt.%, preferably 2-15wt.% compound expressed by formula (C) (R1)a(R2)b(R3)c (a, b and c are integer numbers and satisfy a+b+c>=4 and a>=2; R1 is 1-3C alkanol; R2 and R3 are H or 1-5C hydrocarbon; R2not equal to R3; R2 is not H in case of a+b=2 and R1=1C) are blended to provide the objective ink excellent in stability without physical-properties change or deposit of solid components during storage for a long period.</p> |
