PURPOSE:To obtain optimum correction respectively in upper and lower pictures by making a correcting waveform with dividing into the waveform for the upper part and lower part of the picture and synthesizing these waveforms. CONSTITUTION:A distortion correcting waveform, which is generated by a distortion correcting waveform generator 1 is inputted respectively to two correcting quantity adjusting circuits 2A and 2B. The correcting quantity adjusting circuits 2A and 2B respectively adjust the amplitude of a waveform part corresponding to the upper part and lower part of the picture and make the correcting waveform. Next, a control signal is received from a control circuit 7 and the two waveforms are synthesized by a switching circuit 6, which is changed-over in each deflection scanning period. Then, one correcting waveform is made. The synthesized correcting waveform is supplied through an amplifier 3 and a transformer 5 to a deflecting coil 4. |
