PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide superconductor contg. no Cu which is required as an essential component in conventional high temp. oxide superconductors, and having same Tc as the conventional high temp. oxide superconductors by constituting the superconductor of a composite metal oxide consisting of Ba, alkaline earth metal, Pb, Bi and O in a specified atomic ratio. CONSTITUTION:The title oxide superconductor is constituted of a metal oxide expressed by the formula (wherein M is at least one kind of alkaline earth metal among Sr, Ca, Mg and Be). An oxide superconductor having the above- described characteristics is obtd. by adding further an annealing stage of the metal oxide having the above-described compsn. at 500-800 deg.C in O2 atmosphere during calcination. The oxide superconductor can have a Tc>=150K, and is expected to contribute to, not only in the industrial field but also to the development of scientific field such as research of superconducting mechanism. |
