PURPOSE:To form easily a die used for forming a bead by accurately making base plates to coincide with each other, by unifying two metallic base plates to cut a slit, and inlaying a metallic band plate projectingly in the slit of one base plate, and reforming the slit in the other plate to be large and the same in width in the direction of the plate thickness. CONSTITUTION:When a male die 10 and a female die 18 are placed oppositely, the center line C of a projecting part 16 of metallic band plate 12 inlaid in the male die 10 and the center line C of a large slit 18S of the female die 18, are accurately aligned facing each other, and the die is obtained which is capable of forming a bead 24 having the same inclined angles at its both sides of an original sheet 22g between the base surfaces 14 and 14 of the male and female dies 10 and 18. |
