PURPOSE:To propel a vehicle while maintaining a main body in a stable condition, by sequentially rotating leg form mechanisms along a groove. CONSTITUTION:Each of the leg form mechanisms 3 fitted into the groove 2 provided in the main body 1 has a driver 4 of its own, and the main body 1 can be moved by sequentially rotating the leg form mechanisms 3 along the groove 2 in the condition wherein driving gears 5 of the drivers 4 are engaged with toothed internal grooves 6 for driving which are provided in the inside surface of the groove 2. Each of the leg form mechanisms 3 is provided with a stretching and contracting device 8 for a leg part 7 and an axis-rotating device 9 for changing the angle of the axis of the mechanism 3 against the main body 1. Accordingly, stable traveling adapted to the road condition can be achieved. |
