PURPOSE:To ensure constantly correct printing by providing a constitution in which a heating element head rotates freely; in printing, ink is ejected from an openable window set in an open state; and, otherwise, the orifice window is closed with a rotating cover and at the same time, the heating element head is immersed in ink. CONSTITUTION:A heating element head 1 and a guide member 5 are integrally mounted on a rotary body provided in an ink case 7 in a freely rotating manner. Therefore, during printing, a rotating cover 9a rotates because of the positioning of the heating element head 1 so that it faces upward, and subsequently, an orifice window 7a is open to enable printing when the printing is not performed, the rotary body is rotated to allow a printing head 1 to face downward and this results in the rotation of the rotating cover 9a to keep orifice window 7a closed, and at the same time, the subsequent immersion of the heating element head 1 and the guide member 5. Thus a groove for ink ejection is prevented from becoming dry and this action prevents the occurrence of printing error when the following printing is performed. |
