PURPOSE:To enable high-speed writing with a small quantity of light energy and to reduce the size of the device by uniformly spraying fine photosensitive particles onto paper and exposing the part desired to be imaged by using laser light, then selectively heating and melting the exposed part. CONSTITUTION:The fine photosensitive particles are formed by dispersing photosensitive quinonediazides into an aq. soln. of sodium hydrogencarbonate and PVA soln. to prepare a liquid compsn. and adding carbon black to this liquid compsn., then sealing such compsn. into microcapsules. These fine particles are electrostatically and uniformly sprayed on the paper 1 and only the part desired to be imaged on the paper is exposed by using the laser light to sensitive the photosensitive material. The exposed fine particles 6 are selectively heated and melted and the fine particles 5 which are not melted are removed from the paper. The paper is then subjected to press fixing, by which the image is formed. The high-speed writing by using a small quantity of the light energy is thereby enabled and the size and cost of the device are reduced. |
