PURPOSE:To facilitate load control by constructing the title load controller in a way that an injector is provided at the combustion chamber of a 2-cycle engine and also a scavenging pump is provided in communication with the scavenging port of a cylinder and the scavenging pump is driven by a crack shaft via a speed change mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In a 2-cycle engine, an ignition plug 9 and a direct injection type injector 10 are fitted to the top of a combustion chamber 8. Fuel which is discharged from a fuel pump 22 and is regulated in its pressure by a pressure regulating valve 24 and pressurized air which is generated by a compressor 28 and is regulated in its pressure by a pressure regulating valve 26 are fed to the injector 10. A scavenging port 16 is opened at a position shifted about 90 degrees from the position of the exhaust port 11 of a cylinder 2. A scavenging pump 33 is continuously provided in communication with the scavenging port 16 via a scavenging pipe 30, scavenging chamber 31 and an intercooler 33. The scavenging pump 33 is connected to a crank shaft 5 via the speed change mechanism 40 controlled together with the injector 10 by a control unit 50. |
